Production Manager/Ink and Paint
Lisa graduated from Biola University in 2003 with a degree in liberal studies. Shortly after completing her teaching credential and starting a career as a teacher she married the love of her life Brandon Joens. She has worked with Covina-Valley unified school district for the last four years as an elementary substitute teacher. Lisa was brought on to Whitestone Media as an office manager in between teaching jobs.
Once “Theo” began production she found herself elbow deep in the animation process. Her title quickly changed from office manager to ink and paint girl. Once she was able to learn the theory of animation she rose to production manager. Because of her love of teaching children and sharing the Bible’s truths it was only natural for her to be a part of “Theo”. The animation industry is not exactly where she pictured herself to be, but Lisa has proven she is quite capable of taking on new challenges.
